Heather

A lovely cottage and very friendly owners, they even posted back a jacket to us that we accidentally left behind! There was a fab welcome pack that was greatly appreciated.

Sheila

Fabulous place for a family holiday, only one small niggle, it would have been good to have one room with two single beds in it for the teenskids we had with us. We had to bring a blow up mattress. Other than that we all really enjoyed the space, great kitchen and lovely comfy lounge ideally arranged for games.

Pamela

Our family very much enjoyed our stay. The house offered lots of space and comfort. The garden was enjoyed by the children as well as seeing the ponies each day. Lots to do in the area. Special place was the tearoom at end of Chapel Lane. Thank you

We loved our stay at Leymill Farm. There were 6 of us, our children aged 14 and 12 loved having their own rooms and the downstairs bedroom worked perfectly for my 79 year old mum. The house was spacious, with a fantastic kitchen, dining area, living room and garden, and in a very quiet and peaceful location. Would highly recommend!

Very comfortable for our family get together for Christmas. Generous welcome hamper, Christmas tree decorations all made it very homely. Everyone relaxed and had a good time !

Very nice comfortable house. Just a couple of things to mention. The central heating thermostat is positioned just above a radiator which therefore tends to give a false reading in terms of the general temperature level across the house. There were a few light bulbs which need replacing. It would be helpful to have access to the instruction booklet for the cooker.

This was a lovely property for our party of eight people, with plenty of space. We had excellent weather so were able to enjoy the space in the garden as well as the house. It was in a wonderful location, with shops conveniently nearby. We particularly enjoyed our barbecue with meat from the local butchers shop. We all had a great holiday.

Anthony

Glorious spot and well equipped farm house for our family holiday.

Lovely property and perfect for a group of 8 who were visiting for a family wedding. Great socialising spaces downstairs. Very well equipped and lovely welcome hamper on arrival. Very clear comms beforehand on key collection and directions to the property. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Rebecca

This is a great house. We had a lovely stay.

We had a lovely week at Ley Farm good sized bedrooms, kitchen very well equipped, comfortable lounge, very nice local pubs with good food, and good cycling roads. The forest of Dean wasn't far away for cycling also. Jo, the host, was also very helpful answering our questions before our journey. Overall a lovely venue for a group of friends or families to gather.

Claire

A lovely stay on the farm and a great base for all the family to get together. The kids loved being so close to animals, and the adults loved the views over the countryside. The farm was very comfortable for the 8 of us, with great living space and lovingly decorated. There was everything we needed, although some more teaspoons would be useful! Overall excellent accommodation and we would definitely book again when looking to stay in the area.

Zachariah

Lovely property, has everything you could ask for. Great area and local walks as well as an incredibly clean house, would definitely recommend

A somewhat remote property located on a farm, which came with the rural smells, which didnt bother us. Comfortable lounge, well equipped kitchen. Nice garden area. We called the owners as one of the radiators wasnt working, within 10 mins, the owner came and fixed it for us. Thank you for a lovely stay !

The property was very clean and the facilities were excellent. The communication from the owner, both before our visit and during our visit, was excellent. I would highly recommend this property.

Makwana

We celebrated my husband 60th birthday with family, we nice time property is clean and well equipped. But a bit disappointed with the facilities in the garden only two benches, we expected there to be enough table and chairs and parasols for 10 people and not enough toilet paper or kitchen rolls so we had to buy our own. The location is farm land so nothing walking distance you have to drive. Also we found the manure smell very strong some days. Otherwise very nice!

Lesley

Lovely rustic cottage with benefits of rural location whilst within easy reach of Gloucester. Welcome hamper was appreciated. Kitchen well stocked and property clean and comfortable. Lovely enclosed garden too.

Louise

We had a lovely stay and it was perfect for our needs! Such a lovely and well equipped house

Spacious, well equipped house& thoughtful welcome pack. Fresh flowers a welcome touch! Plenty of attractions relatively close by for families with children. Peaceful rural location, grandchildren enjoyed garden& ponies in adjacent paddock.

Eileen

Beautiful house all aspects catered for lovely to have the welcome hamper

Charlotte

We had a fantastic stay thank you so much! The house is gorgeous and so well equipped. The rooms are spacious. Only very minor niggle please could you check the dishwasher it didnt seem too effective. We would definitely stay again!!

Ley Mill Farm was just perfect! It was great to find a property that had double beds in all the rooms! There was plenty of space and the kitchendining area is great! We loved that it was a lovely comfy and spacious living room where we could all actually sit down! We would 100 recommend this place and will definitely return!

George

We had a brilliant time staying as a group for the new years eve long weekend and the host was proactive in welcoming us and making sure we were comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Ley Mill was a brilliant place to stay. The property is well appointed very well equipped and so comfortable. 10 adults stayed and the house still felt spacious. Everything we needed and more was provided for our family get together. All rooms are proper doubles and there was enough space for sitting eating and preparing food. Cant recommend here enough. Thanks Jo we loved it.

Whilst we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ley Mill Farm, I feel I have to point out one or two things which need to be addressed. 1. There was a hole in the step on one of the stairs on the first floor. Unfortunately it caused me to catch my foot and fall hurting my back. 2. The toilet seat in the main bathroom is loose and need to be secured. 3. It would be helpful if the refuse collection day was made known so that the boxes could be put kerbside for collection.

We had a great stay, kitchen was very well equipped welcome hamper was amazing, one of the white dining chairs was broken as was the end post on the bed in the first bedroom upstairs also it says there was extra bedding in the wardrobe of the small bedroom we couldn't find it. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay at property.

We had a wonderful stay at Ley Mill Farm. It is a perfect place to get families together who live in different parts of the country. It's not easy to find cottages with five double bedrooms but this fitted the bill perfectly. The many bathrooms really helped together with lots of space in the cottage especially in the kitchen which looks very new as do the bathrooms. The lounge was also very comfortable with plenty of seating. I loved the powerful and hot rain shower. The kitchen is very well equipped and a joy to use. We were delighted with the basket of goodies the owner had left for us on arrival. Would love to go back!

Perfect property for a family gathering. Lovely house which was so well equipped with everything we needed and more. Would have loved to stayed longer.

Harris

We had a great family break, the property was very spacious & had some great homely touches making the stay very relaxing & comfortable. The surrounding area was soothing and had a lovely, peaceful feeling, would very highly recommend for families.

Nichola

A beautiful house in a beautiful setting. The garden was great with big benches and a bbq to enjoy. The beds and bedding were great quality too. Its so well equipped for 10 people. We had a great time With our family here. Thank you for having us!

Lovely spacious property with a large garden and horses next door. Kids loved it. Lovely hamper with local essentials.

Me and my 7 friends had a wonderful stay at Ley Mill Farm. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed and more. The hamper provided with local produce was a lovely touch and we took everything home. Would definitely recommend the house for a quiet, country break.

A really lovely farm house in the countryside. A lovely welcoming hamper on arrival and we settled in very quickly. Great facilities particularly in the kitchen. Beds were comfy. We had a great time and thanks to Jo for the help she gave us. We plan to go again, as this was central to where we wanted to be and it was easy to find.

Lovely stay at Ley Mill Farm. Perfect welcoming hamper which was a real treat. Great walks on your door step too! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Caroline

Lovely property lots of space and fully kitted out. Perfect place for family gettogether with three different generations including downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Generous hamper provided too which was much appreciated.

The holiday home ticked all our boxes. From being able to look after 9 with a range of 2 months old to 63 years old. The property was clean and spacious, had good hot water and heating and the food hamper was amazing.Jo was great as she kept in touch with me regularly as there was a horrible storm and advised us not to travel on the Friday, and we will ok this advise . Thanks Jo for a great family week.
