We had a wonderful stay as a group of young families. This property was close to perfection for us. The large dining room was ideal, the rooms in general are all beautiful. The home feels spacious and safe, the children loved it. Tom was very helpful with our setup and queries. The farm's burgers are excellent. On the final day we were lucky and the farm had their open day with activities for the children, which was a joy.

We had a fantastic week at Hammonds Farmhouse. We were a large family group with young children. The farmhouse is spacious, and clean, and very well equipped for a large group. We also enjoyed the outdoor space and games room. We would highly recommend to others.

This is a lovely property for our large group of friends. Almost all the bedrooms have ensuite facilities, with just the two ground floor bedrooms sharing a bathroom opposite. The bedrooms in the main part of the house are all a very spacious, even the ones on the second floor. There are two smaller rooms in the ground floor extension. The main kitchen was a little on the small side for the size of the property, but there is a secondary kitchen area on the other side of the large dining room, with a small fridge, sink and cupboardsworktops. Spacious garden and plenty of parking space were a bonus. Quiet location apart from occasional farm machinery noises during the day. Wonderful area for walking and we were able to walk straight from the house into beautiful countryside and return later for tea on the terrace.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my 80th birthday with 13 members of our family. The house is amazing, so much space and very well equipped. The games room was a huge hit The beds were comfortable and everywhere was very clean. The garden and views are amazing. A lovely time was had by all.

Comfortable, well equipped house in a beautiful setting. Enough reception rooms that people could split into different groups, or have some quiet time if wanted, but equally the dining table and the outside table were big enough for all of us to be together. Lots of outside space too. The lane was quiet enough to feel safe walking into Stroud only about 3040 minutes walk which was a bonus for the nondrivers. Our party ranged in age from 2 to 73, and everyone was happy! The organic veg growers in the neighbouring field were interesting to talk to, and the meat from the little farm shop was delicious. Plenty to occupy us in the surrounding area as well. In total, would give more than 5 stars if they were available!

Hello. We loved the accommodation. The beds were super comfy and we particularly enjoyed the big dining room where all our guests could sit together. The only thing we were not happy about was that the heating was erratic. The radiators did not work at all on the top floor possibly needed bleeding, in the bathrooms there were times when we could not adjust put on the heating. Were they on timers perhaps? But the main concern was not being able to get any heat in the radiators in the dining rooms on some evenings. The manager said the thermastat was in the kitchen where the oven was being used so that was probably the problem? Our party were all aged 70 80 and some had conditions which meant that they felt the cold so this was very unfortunate. Luckily the sitting room was super warm with the log burner

Beautiful, spacious farmhouse ideal for a family group of 14 ranging in ages 5 months to 71years old, booked to celebrate a 70th birthday. Kitchen well equipped and everyone loved the games room with table tennis, air hockey and pool. Great dining room. Plenty of outdoor space for the children to run off their energy and enough space downstairs that you never felt you were on top of each other. We would happily book this house again and hope for some warmer weather so that the adults could enjoy the outside area with its plentiful seating and BBQ .

What a find! Very easy to get to, lots of easy parking, amazing views. The house is lovely and spacious and very nicely decorated, lots of homely touches. Almost all the rooms are an ensuite and good sized doubles. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well stocked with pans etc so very easy to cater for our large group. A perfect place for our friend group reunion, thank you!

We had an incredible stay at the farmhouse for my 40th birthday. The house was beautifully presented, spacious and comfortable in a lovely rural setting. I would recommend to others in a heartbeat.

Absolutely loved the cottage and would love to return. The space was perfect, there was everything we needed. Gorgeous walks really close by. Air hockey was a particular favourite with the children!

From the moment we arrived it was clear we had picked a winner. The website does not do justice to this property. We stayed for a week over Christmas and it was perfect for the 14 people who stayed. Every room was a spacious double, with all ensuite apart from 2 that shared a goodsized bathroom. Kitchen well set up for Christmas cooking large range, double oven, huge fridge, big freezer etc The ONLY omission was no bluetooth speakers so bring your own. That was a tiny inconvenience. It was spacious, welcoming and a perfect spot for our festivities.

For at least 10 years we have a prechristmas get together as a family of 13 and Hammonds Farmhouse was certainly the best accomodation we have found. Everything that we needed was available and the whole house was spotlessly clean. The individual rooms were very comfortable and the main areas of excellent proportions for our size party.

Beautiful house, perfectly clean , wonderfully equipped from kitchen provisions to top notch bedding. Our only problem was that it was difficult to set the heating and hot water system as we arrived at the start of the first cold snap of the year. Response from the owner was slower than appropriate and Sykes are impossible to connect with by phone.

A fantastic property. When it says 'luxury farmhouse' it really means it. The facilities are excellent, and particularly the equipment and 'extras' in the kitchen were superb. We have been to other rental places where there is no salt and pepper, let alone coffee or sugar. This was at the other end of the scale, with a condiments cupboard with all we wanted and more, Can't fault it at all. And the owner Eric was super helpful answering questions before our visit,

We had an absolute blast at the farmhouse this weekend. The pictures on the website dont do the house any justice. Its absolutely beautiful, furnished so well, extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen had every single piece of crockery and cutlery you need. There were 17 of us in the house and not once did we ever feel on top of each other. I would 100 recommend this property and would love to stay again if the occassion ever arose.

Hammonds Farm was wonderful in every way . A beautiful house set in gorgeous countryside and theres plenty of outdoor seating in well maintained grounds. All the bedrooms were lovely and the beds were very comfortable. Great facilities for cooking with everything you might need . The bathroom facilities were great with good quality toiletries provided. We really enjoyed our week there as a group of eight women who met in 1970 at university. We all thought it was the best house we have ever stayed in and weve tried several around the country.

Couldnt fault the holiday! We were a party of 11 and all had a great time. Terrific property, with plenty of space and well maintained. Great location, so close to Stroud yet within minutes right in the country. Loved it!

Such a beautiful property and in such a stunning location. We had the most wonderful weekend at Hammond's Farm. The option to buy farm fresh ingredients was such a lovely touch and everything has been thought about, from a fully stocked kitchen, lawn games, bean bags all the way to separate mixed recycling bins. I would highly recommend a stay at Hammond's farm for a large gathering, it was perfect!

What a luxury! We all feel totally pampered by our stay in this Farmhouse. We invited our family, kids and grandkids, for a wonderful get together. The pool table which doubles up as air hockey and table tennis was a great addition as the weather was a bit changeable need new tips on the pool cues please It was so squeaky clean, well equipped and the beds so comfortable everyone wanted to repeat the experience. Thoroughly recommended!

The property suited us very well for a large family gathering to celebrate a big birthday. The bedrooms are large and all en suite except for two , which share facilities . We stayed in the winter so could not make use of the numerous outdoor rseating areas , but they would be ideal in the summer months. The owner was always available to answer any queries.

What a fabulous house this is, so much space and immaculately presented. Maybe a little remote with a few narrow lanes but worth it to get the spectacular views.
