On arrival one of the 2 properties we had booked was not cleaned inbetween visits and bedding not changed hairs everywhere it was disgusting. Messaged Sykes cottages on Friday evening and still have not had a response. I contacted the company privately and they got the other building cleaned promptly. But one of us had to sleep on the sofa on Friday and we couldn't use the hot tub on the first evening Which is the main reason we booked this property because we wasn't sure if that had been cleaned or not. Due to it being in the private section of the property that hadn't been cleaned. For the price we paid for this accommodation for only one full day and 2 nights we expected better and for it at least to be clean with fresh sheets. Wouldn't book through this platform ever again.

We spent a wonderful long weekend over New Year with friends in this spacious, comfortable and very well equipped property set in a great location for exploring some of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds. Clean and cosy wed come again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful place to stay and spend time as a group. The accommodation was lovely, well equipped and had a real homely feel. The beds were very comfortable. It was clean and well kept. We all had a wonderful time staying here and have all said we'll definitely be back

Both barns were as described and very lovely. A few things that would be a benefit would be a hand rail in a bathroom for elderly guests, a wardrobe for the bedroom off the lounge in the main lodge instead of the tiny metal cabinet, wire on the main gates we couldnt let our dog out in the gardens as he is small he would get through the gates as they are very open which isnt safe as on a main road, we always had to take him out into the garden on a lead some door mats in the small lodge would be a benefit at the front and back doors & some sort of shower caddy toothbrush glasses. But, as stated very lovely lodges and would definitely stay here again, thank you!

We and the family much enjoyed your properties. Just a couple of comments, a shower caddy in the bathrooms would have been very useful, somewhere to put soap and shampoo. And the dining table chairs in The Bothy are a little low for the table. Otherwise very nicely appointed, and tastefully furnished. The family loved the hot tub.

We were staying with family for my daughters wedding at Stone Barn so proximity was key. Couldnt fault the facilities etc although not ideal if you want a quiet location as its on a working farm with a main road and car repair directly opposite.

Lovely barns, they are roomy, all amenities inside, however, you do need a car to get around. If you are taking elderly people, please be aware there are no bath mats or grab rails in the bathrooms.

It's the second time we've stayed here, everything we needed was available. Plenty of space to relax after day out. Hot tub was lovely to chill out in. Only one teeny thing, which wasn't a problem the hairdryer in Park Bothy didn't work, I hadn't taken my own as knew there'd be one there. Might just need to check it before next guests arrive. Will definitely be back here again

The cottage was superb, both main building and annex. Perfect for our need a family wedding group. The rooms and bed linentowels were of good quality, which is not always the case. One cleaning note, we found a sock under one of the beds on arrival. One small gripe is that we would have liked slightly earlier arrival access appreciating this would be unusualit would have assisted our preparations for the next day and even with several messages Sykes didnt really go the extra mile to see if this was possible. In terms of suggestions really this is minor stuffpoints for style a BBQ would be good and maybe some bathroom soap or wash etc.plus an added bin liner.
