The Gate House, Cirencester

The Gate House is a five-bedroom manor house in Stratton, Gloucestershire. It sits on the edge of the Cotswolds AONB and sleeps 10 guests across five king-size bedrooms. Groups get plenty of space with two conservatories, a snug with open fire and a sitting room with woodburning stove. The fully-equipped kitchen acts as a social hub. Outside there's parking for five cars and a large enclosed garden with patio.

Stratton is a peaceful village just outside Cirencester. The Drillmans Arms and The Plough Inn are both within walking distance. Shops and pubs are 0.2 miles away.

All five bedrooms feature king-size beds spread across two floors. There are four bathrooms including one with bath and shower on the first floor, another bath and shower room on the second floor, plus a walk-in shower room and ground floor cloakroom. The kitchen includes a range cooker, combi microwave, two fridge freezers, washing machine and dishwasher. Smart TV and WiFi keep everyone connected.

Cirencester (1.1 miles, 5 minutes) offers the Corinium Museum and Roman Amphitheatre. Chedworth Roman Villa (8 miles, 15 minutes) showcases ancient mosaics. Cerney House Gardens (4 miles, 10 minutes) provides beautiful grounds to explore. Cirencester Golf Club (2 miles, 6 minutes) suits keen golfers.

The Gate House works brilliantly for multi-family breaks or milestone celebrations. One dog is welcome but must stay off furniture and downstairs.
